Guardsman Jonatthan Uran, 26, got an earful from the angry driver about his uniform.

"He hoped I got sent to Iraq and got shot," Uran said. "I told him that's fine, I'd still die for him."

While it may not be what the driver wanted to hear, I think it is important to appreciate the Guardsman's statement. He is a public servant willing to put his life on the line in service to every citizen of his country.

We are in his debt, and especially in the debt of those who are putting their life on the line in Iraq every day.
