A couple posts from the “other” side in deference to Common Dream Jon’s noted absence from the forum:

First: A love-in for Bill Moyers

Seems he is the only one at the Take Back America Conference who was able to rally the troops (sorry, but he started the militaristic party metaphor!) Although I have a hard time agreeing with most of it, I really like the idea that the Dems might finally pull it together and put up a little better counter balance in the next election. I think most of the problems the Left currently complain about are prevalent because of the one-sided, unchallenged government we have today. Time for them to suck it up and become part of our government again.

Second: The magic election year word...Impeach!John Dean pulled the short straw and is tasked with finally broaching the sordid affair the Left has been waiting to revenge for four years. “Missing Weapons Of Mass Destruction: Is Lying About The Reason For War An Impeachable Offense?” I guess it was inevitable. At least this president is accused of doing something that is really an issue for the country and not just a reflection of his incapacitating infantile ego (wait...um...oh never mind). Too bad it is likely to backfire considering the popular wave Bush is currently surfing.
