U.S. Jobs and Security to continue to be sent overseas. Some in Congress would see it limited.

"Lieberman said he's concerned about the ongoing shift of the manufacturing, research and design sectors of the semiconductor industry to China, and the long-term national security consequences of this development."
Lieberman, and many others in the US Government, are not so sanguine about trade with China. Or more to the point, they cannot fully understand why the US should be sending jobs and technology to a country that is clearly our next adversary. However, as usual U.S. business is not interested in politics they are simply chasing low-cost labor and design resources at the cost of National Security and American jobs.
