Can American Idol teach democracy?

Evidently the answer is yes. Seems that the Reality TV lovin', SUV drivin' illiterati Right can teach the ME a thing or two beyond how to take an ass whuppin'.

Also note that the Arab street 'seethe' trigger seems to have a fairly light pull.

"'With our blood and souls, we sacrifice for you Melhem,' the protesters chanted, waving pictures of the defeated singer."

OK, guys, we get the point. Please . . . please . . . strap explosives on and turn Simon Cowell into a smoking crater. Actually, maybe he can take over as the "Great Satan" and give the rest of us a break.
