Hoping We Fail
Who loses and who wins in the high-stakes poker in Iraq?

The US has a huge amount of credibility on the line in Iraq and Afghanistan. Personally I am pessimistic and don't believe the US will continue pouring blood and money into those countries even if it is the right thing to do. At some point someone is going to say "Screw Iraq" and we will walk away.

Do you know who will be most upset by that development?
The soldiers, the guys that are doing the fighting and dying and rebuilding.
