Mike Hawash pleads guilty as part of a deal that will put him behind bars for 7 years. In exchange, he has agreed to testify against the other 6 defendants. It has to be tough for his family - 7 years will seem like a very long time. It could have been worse.

Update: Apparently the isolation in federal detention that so outraged everyone (incl. me) was at Mike's request. It also sounds like he truly owned up to what he did.
